Dear Academician Velikhov:

	Many thanks for receiving me at the end of what must have
been a busy week.  I found our visit very interesting, and there
were many questions on which I would welcome hearing your point
of view had there been more time.

	I have thought about your invitation to visit Moscow
again and give some lectures, and I think I will want to accept
it, but I need more details.  The most convenient time for me
would be the month of May 1990, i.e.  the whole month, but other
times and durations are possible.

	I am revising my article on terms for greatly increased
Soviet access to Western computer technology on the basis of what
I learned during my visit.  The direction of revision is
increased emphasis and more detail on the importance of the
institutions of commerce for the successful use of
technology---as compared to the level of technology itself.
